Tom worked as a printer at the U. of T. where he studied archaeology as a part-time student. He did his field school at the Scarborough's Guild Log Cabin and the Ashbridge's sites. Tom holds an avocational license from the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, and is the co-founder of the Pickering Twp. Historical Society. He and his wife Deb live in Lindsay.

Bill works for the Trent-Severn Waterway, Parks Canada and is a faculty member of the Anthropology Department at Trent University. He moved to Peterborough in 2010 with his family (wife and three children) from Ucluelet, BC. Prior to that, he worked for Parks Canada in Inuvik, NWT. Dirk is a retired secondary school teacher and vice-principal. Upon retirement he taught part-time at the Trent U. School of Education. He holds an M.A. in anthropology from Trent, an M.Ed. from U of T, and a B.A. from York U. His master’s thesis involved an analysis of Mayan iconography at Altun Ha in Belize. He and his wife, Lorna, live in Peterborough. They have 4 children and 4 grandchildren.

Deb has had an interest in archaeology from an early age when, for her Grade 5 public speaking class, she choose the story of Pompeii and Mt Vesuvius as her subject. As an adult, she stuck with the "A" theme of professions and became an accountant, not an archaeologist. She has worked in both public and private accounting for nearly 40 years, currently in the Lindsay and Peterborough area. She assures us that archaeology and accounting are not that different...one finds interesting answers buried in the dirt; the other finds interesting answers buried in the books. She and Tom relocated to Lindsay from Pickering about eight years ago, and have 4 children and 5 grandchildren.

Julie completed a B.A. Hons. and M.A. in Anthropology, and her PhD, in Indigenous Studies, at Trent University. She also received a B.Ed. from University of Western Ontario focusing on multicultural education and taught in several area high schools. She is an occasional Instructor for the Indigenous Environmental Studies (IES) Program at Trent University and created the Indigenous Environmental Research Ethics and Protocol course. She also teaches a course in Indigenous Environmental Studies in the Ecological Restoration Joint Program at Fleming College. Her interests focus on relationship building between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples and their respective systems of knowledge as well as research ethics and protocol within Indigenous contexts.

Morgan was an Associate Professor of Anthropology and Computer Studies at Trent University from 1973 to 2005. He joined the OAS in 1955 after doing archaeology in the Peterborough area. He has a BA in Anthropology from U of T, an MA from the University of London's Institute of Archaeology and PhD from the University of Arizona. After retiring he joined the OAS Board as Director of Heritage Advocacy and helped to organize the local chapter. He is also a Citizen Member of the Peterborough Museum and Archives Advisory Committee. He and his wife live in Peterborough and he continues doing archaeological research. Their two sons live in Edinburgh and Boston.
